Success Stories

“We’ve tried this type of equipment from 3 other companies and none of them could survive the traffic we get on game days (6000-8000 vehicles). We are very happy with the Roadshark equipment and our maintenance has gone from 30 hours per month to 4 hours per month (cleaning). Our annual budget for replacement parts is now $250 instead of $1000.00+.”

ADESA Auto Auction

ADESA Auto Auction in BC Canada had traffic flow issues and wanted to prevent vehicle thefts. The 6 Roadshark SM38 modules have solved the traffic flow issues and after 3 years they have paid for themselves 10 times over by preventing vehicle thefts.

“We installed our first set of Roadshark in-ground Low Profile barriers 4 years ago. We found replacement springs to be reasonably priced and the customer service to be outstanding. We recently repaved our entire neighborhood which required us to replace the older system with the new Roadshark Low Profile Counterbalanced barriers. So far, they have operated without problems of any kind. We have a camera system at our front gate and the Roadshark barriers have deterred hundreds of unwanted entries over the past 4 years.”

Port Of Manilla, Philippines

In 2016 we directed a project at the Port of Manila to control vehicle traffic and make some lanes for going one direction only  “one way” . We completed the installation of our Roadshark LPC38 units in September 2016.  We installed Roadshark LPC equipment  over 16 metres.

The traffic is heavy trucks and trailers all day long, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.  There is one truck about every 15 seconds as they drive in to get loaded with containers off of the ships.  This is over 5500 trucks per day.

The Roadshark have performed well.  These have been in use over 1 year and we ordered more in Sept 2017.  The first ones had a frame that was 5 inches deep but we found it was filling up with dirt and the Port of Manilla did not install any drainage system.  We asked Roadshark to help us with this and our new equipment is 6.5 inches deep now.  We now do cleanings once per month instead of once every 2-3 weeks.
