Yes. Each individual segment of any non-electric ROADSHARK model can be locked down with the center bolt.
Our proprietary Lock-down feature is located at the top of the unit. It consists of a patented threaded mechanism that is turned down and lowers the blades. A wrench or impact wrench (recommended) with a 3/4″ socket is all you need to use the lock-down feature.
Clearance height is measured from ground surface to the tip of the barrier blades.
The maximum blade height is 3.75” for our speed-bump style TigerTeeth models (TT36, TT48).
The maximum blade height is 4.25” for our speed-bump style SM models (SM36, SM48, SM Electric).
The height of all surface mount (speed bump) units with blades lowered is 2.06″. The top portion of the cover-plate does not have exposed bolt heads or other protrusions that would catch on low vehicles or trailer hitches.
The maximum blade height is 4” for our in-ground ‘Low Profile’ models (LPC/LPS, LP Electric).
Yes. We offer a heat-trace cable as an optional add-on for customers in cold climates.
Once connected to power and placed into the ROADSHARK system, the self-regulating cable emits heat when ambient temperatures reach a specific threshold, melting ice/frost and allowing full functionality of the spikes.
